Lately I started to finish the old ideas. I drew concept for this illustration like a year ago. Two or three days of work and here it is :)

Little offtopic - Nasa scientists have discovered life form that is completely different than anything on Earth. It has totally diferent DNA / RNA. The definition of what we call life has changed today! Normally, everything is built on a set of elements - carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, sulfur, phosphorus. This life form is “running” by arsenic, which is toxic to the most of terrestrial organisms.

BALANCE

I made the concept of this illustration like two years ago. I posted it here. The idea came from variations on a Chinese symbol of Yin and Yang. A few days ago I decided to make concept into real finished work and here it is. One day of painting.

MAFIA

There was no update for a quite long time here.Main reason for this was my broken thumb of right hand. Four weeks in a gypsum, two weeks in special rails resulted in quite a stiff finger and six weeks of rehabilitation, which is still going on...

To move on and remind myself how to paint I made this speed-painting in exactly 90 minutes. It is for competition at max3d.pl. The main theme of the contest is Mafia. All works are typically Italian mafia, and I somehow came with different idea to show our Polish native Mafia. If you don't live here, it can be hard to understand. We have in Poland a lot of very old and religion fanatics old woman. They can be very aggressive. Also they protect crappy cross which stand in center of Warsaw with no reason.

KALAIS IN WONDERLAND

From time to time I enter some contests for fun. It is good for skills improvements . This time I made illustration for deviantart contest "Picture Yourself in Wonderland." The idea was to present yourself as a character from "Alice in Wonderland" by Tim Burton. Well, here it is - Kalais as the Mad Hatter. I would love to detail it more, but I have not much free time lately because of work and I am writing thesis at this moment and I gonna finish it this time ;) so keep your fingers crossed! Oh, the new updates of my blog will appear kinda slowly because of the reasons listed above, but for sure I won't abandon pursuit of Illustrated Apparent Reality.
