We walking always straight ahead, looking only at what is in front. We don't look around, we don't take into consideration other ways. And when our journey ends unexpectedly, we find ourselves at the edge of precipice, everything seems hopeless. Just sometimes you need stop for a moment, look around, maybe somewhere there is a solution, the path you missed.
Illustration painted with tablet, few days of work, few hours each day. I begun this work a few months ago I think. The original is several times larger, so a lot of detail missing here.

It is really fast made illustration. I made a few expressionist strokes few months ago, and yesterday in few more strokes it led to what is shown below. Couple starts a journey for new life, in the thicket of uncertainties, in the jungle of surprises. They can meet darkness, they can meet light :)

Life is a continuous choices. Choose, decide, decree. Do this, or maybe this, or maybe this. Constantly we stand in front of the doors of decision. We do not know exactly what is on the other side of the doors, what will happen when we choose one of the paths. Some choices can lead to the same, but do not have to. The farther, the more branches and potential choices. And the consequences of our actions will be after us, like a tail, forever.
I painted this long time ago. I have few different visions of the idea, so you see next to the title "version 1". This time I tested the free version of ArtRage 2, which simulates painting with oil paints. You can mix the paint directly on a virtual canvas. It is interesting and fun. The lack of known from Photoshop layers makes you feel even better the pros and cons of oils.

Around 2 months ago I created this painting :) This is my first "picture" painted with traditional (not digital) media aka watercolours. An experiment, I had a lot of fun with this one, it took me 3 days because I had to wait until the paint dries. It is painted on the thick paper bag :) Size is approximately 35cm x 50cm. I certainly will paint again with traditional watercolours because I really enjoyed creating this one :)
Hmm, the idea for this work came from the photo of girl named Eunika (I saw her somewhere over the internet and somehow she stuck in my memory) and my great and extraordinary journey to the supermarket among the great snows and lonely forever and always interesting trees. And somehow it all mixed in one vision. :)
